St. George’s GRENADA – The Grenada Athletic Association is pleased to announce the Grenada National Team for the 2022

World Athletics Championships scheduled for July 15th – 24th, 2022 in Eugene, Oregon.

The team is comprised of the following athletes:

• Anderson Peters is the defending World Champion and currently the World leader in the Javelin, when he posted a personal best performance of 93.07 meters at the 2022 Doha Diamond League. 
• Kirani James is a triple Olympic medalist in the 400 meters and posted a season’s best of 44. 02 secs. and currently ranks number three (3) in the world in the 400 meters event. 
• Lindon Victor posted a season-best performance of 8311 points and is ranked 6^th in the decathlon event.  

The athletes will be accompanied by their coaches Harvey Glance, Paul Phillip, and Christopher Huffins respectively.  Mr. Ewaldson Francois will accompany the team in the capacity of Physiotherapist.
