Pink Gin Beach, Grenada, April 18, 2022-  Families of Morne Tout convened for an afternoon of fun, this Easter Sunday at the neighborhood playing field, hosted by Sandals Grenada Resort. Children of all ages participated in a variety of competitions and games winning school supplies, toys, and kites. All were treated with complimentary meals, and sweet treats fueled the fun for all the tots, teens and in-betweeners.

Asa Glean, Morne Tout resident and dancer at Sandals Grenada Resort, had the idea of an Easter treat to benefit his community, and is therefore grateful to the resort’s Public Relations team who supported his idea and with the Sandals Foundation was able to make it a reality. He said, “I’m overjoyed that we got the support to do this here in my community. It feels really good to give back as we always like to do as a resort and with the Sandals Foundation.”

The event was well attended with over 60 children present throughout the windy Easter afternoon. For Asa it was indeed a success, he continued, “This is such an awesome event for the kids today. They are having a blast.”

Glean also extended gratitude to persons within the community who were instrumental in coordinating the event; “Thank you Nixon, Lock & Load Sounds, Christopher Ross and Karen Andrews, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
