Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa Named Number One Hotel in the Caribbean
(St. George’s, Grenada) 27th January, 2017—The Grenada Tourism Authority wishes to congratulate Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa on being named the Number One Hotel in the Caribbean in the 2017 TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards.
This coveted award is based on reviews and opinions from millions of travelers, and is bestowed upon the top 1% of all hotels listed on TripAdvisor.com, truly speaking to the five star service that Calabash Luxury Boutique & Spa is known for.
This honour comes amongst a slew of others that the prestigious hotel has recently received; in addition to being named the Number One Hotel in the Caribbean, TripAdvisor has also ranked Calabash #2 of the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in the Caribbean, #3 of the Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean, and #13 of the Top 25 in the World. Furthermore, Calabash was recently accepted into the Virtuoso portfolio, a network of luxury travel agencies representing the best in the industry, as well as being recognised by HotelsCombined, a meta-search company, as one of the best hotels in the world.

The Calabash Luxury Boutique & Spa has recently completed an extensive upgrade project, which included the renovation of all suites.
The GTA also wishes to extend congratulations to Spice Island Beach Resort, which has recently been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award for 2017 which can only be found at 7 Caribbean Hotels. This award is one of the most coveted hotel awards in the hospitality and tourism industry, it has currently only been granted to six other resorts in the Caribbean and 118 hotels worldwide.
