Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel to Welcome Guests From October 14, 2020
Grenada (October 6, 2020) – After an unexpected six month closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the management and staff of Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel are excited to welcome guests on October 14, 2020. This follows a recent announcement by the Grenada Tourism Authority that Grenada is open and receiving visitors from all over the world, with the resumption of international flights in October.
The hotel’s reopening also welcomes the return of 100 members of staff who will be trained according to comprehensive guidelines to ensure that the health and safety of all are of highest priority in the daily operations.
“We are grateful that we are now in a position where we can get our team back to work. As a self-contained property, we are in a bubble and have the ability to shield the community. We have a deep understanding of what reopening within the current climate entails, and we feel comfortable with the training, protocols and systems that we have in place to protect our staff and guests. We take our role in restarting the tourism sector very seriously and look forward to life returning to Calabash.”, comments Director of Sales & Marketing, Adele Garbutt
Calabash highly commends the government of Grenada for their excellent management of the pandemic and safeguarding of the nation, and believe that the new carefully measured and sensible reopening protocols are attractive and a positive for both visitors and locals, as we aim to boost our economy.
