Calaloo Resident Remanded
Officers of the Traffic Department, Grenville Police Station arrested and charged Kellon Jeffery, 40 years, Mechanic of Calaloo, Hermitage, St. Patrick, for Driving without Due Care and Attention and Driving without a Driver’s Licence. This, after a vehicle he was driving collided with a 9 year old student at Dunfermline, St. Andrew, on May 2nd, 2021.
Jeffery was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison on Monday May 3rd, 2021, and will return to court on May 10th, 2021.
The child remains warded at the General Hospital.
Meanwhile, a 40 year old Security Guard of Willis, St. George, was arrested and charged by officers attached to CID St. George for the offence of Grievous Harm, after he allegedly bit out a portion of another resident’s top lip.
Charged for the May 2nd occurrence is Paul Amade, who resides in the same community where they were reportedly involved in a gamble.
Amade was granted bail in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) with two (2) sureties, and will appear in court on May 18th, 2021.
