One man is in police custody assisting with investigations into the seizure of two hundred sixteen (216) pounds of Cannabis which carries an estimated street value of four hundred and eighty-nine thousand, eight hundred and eighty-eight dollars ($ 489,888ECC).

The Cannabis was confiscated on Friday 22^nd July, during an operation conducted by officers attached to Drug Squad at Telescope, St. Andrew.

Police investigations are continuing.
