Duo in Police Custody following Firearm Discovery

One man and a woman are presently in police custody following the discovery of twelve (12) packages containing plant like material resembling Cannabis, one (1) Berretta .32 Pistol and thirty-six (36) rounds of .32 Ammunition.
These items were discovered during a police operation at a house occupied by both detainees at Richmond Hill, St. George.
Both individuals are expected to be charged.
Also police and other emergency services were called out just around 2:15 p.m. on Friday 7th May, 2021, to the scene of an apparent drowning that occurred at Grand Mal Jetty, St. George.
The body of the deceased, Keitson Duncan, a 46-year-old, Fisherman of Karani James Blvd, St. George, when retrieved from the area was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
Police investigations continue.
