‘Flavours of Grenada’ and ‘It Could Be Me’ Make Generous Contributions
The Flavours of Grenada charity foundation is doing wonderful work in the communities of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The Foundation recently collaborated with local charity group ‘It Could Be Me’, to donate items to physically impaired individuals at the World Food Day Exhibition in Grenville.
The smiles of persons receiving wheelchairs, clutches and walkers were priceless. Belinda Bishop co-founder of Flavours of Grenada, spoke humbly of the group’s generous contributions. “We collaborated with ‘It Could Be Me’ to bring things to the community that they really need, such as wheelchairs, walkers, diapers, food and clothing. We participate in a lot of community events and we incorporate all the flavours of Grenada, in our work, music, arts, fashion and food especially.”
Ms Bishop said that the Foundation and raises funds to provide scholarship awards to students. Individuals who are in need of walkers, wheelchairs, diapers, food and clothing may request these from the Foundation.
