GFA Conference League Semifinals Results (Return Leg)
Sunday 4th December, 2016– The T.A. Marryshow Community College and Sabb Spartans will be playing top flight football in 2017. That’s following their wins in the GFA Conference League semifinals. Though they will face each in the Conference Final, they will be automatically promoted to the Premier League as the top two teams in the Conference League according to the regulations. Both teams won their semifinal encounters in thrilling penalty shootouts.

After drawing nil-nil in the first leg of their semifinal encounter, Sabb Spartans and Eagles Super Strikers again drew this time one alls. The match went into penalty shootouts where both teams missed the 5th penalty. In sudden death, Sabb Spartans composed their nerves to net in the winner.
