18th May, 2017 St. George’s, Grenada: As the Grenada football Association looks forward to an exciting 2017/2018 football season, final preparations are being put in place for the establishing of the Conferences.

Already three out of the four conferences have been established and adapted their statues and put in place an Executive Committee which will be responsible for organizing its own Conference League competitions; drawing up of regulations and provisions to ensure their enforcement.

The objective for the implementation of the conference league is to improve the game of football constantly and promote it globally, particularly through youth and development programme.

The four conferences comprise of NWCON: North- Western Conference League; ECON: Eastern Conference League; CENCON: Central Conference League and SOUTHCON: Southern Conference League.

The North- Western conference is made up of teams such as; North Stars FC, Sunsetters SC, Class Herb Roots, Shamrock FC, Sunjets United SC, and Blue Stars SC.

Central Conference teams are; Happy Hill United, Combined Northerners, Christian Stickers, Hampshire United, Tempe All Blacks, Willis Youths, Fontenoy United and FC Camerhogne. While the Southern Conference is made up of, South Stars, Carenage United, Honved FC, Morne Jaloux Sports Club, Springs FC, St. Paul’s Sports and Cultural and the Royal Grenada Police force.

Meanwhile the Eastern Conference is made up of SAFL, Five Stars, Mt. Horn FC, Belle View Rangers and St. David’s.

The Eastern conference is yet to put an executive in place.
