Paradise FC International has ended round 2 of the GFA Premier League unbeaten and Mt. Rich SC has cemented its spot in the Big 4. Paradise FC triumphed over Gouyave FC 1-0 on Sunday at Cuthbert Peters Park giving them their 13th season win and Mt. Rich SC edged out Hurricanes SC with a 1 goal win at Fond ending on 27 points (seven wins and six draws). Joining Mt. Rich SC and Paradise FC in the Big 4 are 2nd place Hard Rock on 39 points and 3rd place St. John’s Sports on 33 points. They will play among themselves to arrive at a Grand Final to determine the 2016 GFA Premier League Champions. At the lower end of the table Boca Juniors and Gouyave FC will be automatically demoted into the North Western Conference (St.Patricks, St.Marks, St. Johns) after ending in 9th and 10th place respectively. Fontenoy United finished strong with a 4-1 win over St. John’s Sports and for another year, the team will face the relegation/promotion playoffs alongside 7th place Chantimelle SC.
