GFA Re-Open its Office Doors to the Public

The Grenada Football Association, (GFA) on Tuesday 16th June 2020 re-opened its doors for business to the General public.
After much planning with the Ministry of Health and the Covid- 19 team the Association was given the green light to resume the business of football.
The Association is now focusing on restoring the workplace effectively, efficiently, and safely.
Several adjustments in the work environment and space were made to provide the appropriate physical distance and hygienic requirements for COVID-19.
This included custodian support to augment workers and visitor’s wellness, health, and safety.
With the opening of the GFA Office, focus will now turn to resuming business on the field of play. Plans are being finalised with the necessary protocol arrangements so that football can resume on the field.
Meanwhile, GFA Club Championship and National players to return in training more than two months after season suspended.
With July being the proposed start date for resumption, players of the Senior Men National Team, National Under 15 Women team and the different clubs participating in the GFA Club Championship will be allowed to return to training, the first step towards the potential resumption of the season.
The Grenada Football association (GFA) presented its safety protocols and guidance to the Ministry of Health and the Covid-19 team for the return of competition.
The association awaits approval pending the submission of its schedule for training and the number of teams that will be in training, the protocols will then be presented to the teams and clubs to follow upon their return.
The protocol guidelines are aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, and ultimately avoiding the complications that may arise from infection.
