Police are seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Kayleigh  Quamina 16 years old, Student of Belair, Carriacou.  

Kayleigh left home on Monday 26^th July, 2021, and was last seen on Friday 30^th July, 2021, at Hope, St. Andrew. She was last seen wearing grey/pink/purple leggings, a blue jersey and black sandals.

She is about five feet six inches in height and brown in complexion.   Anyone seeing Kayleigh Quamina or has any information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Grenville Police Station at 442-7224; Carriacou Police Station at 443-7840; Police Emergency at 911; police hotline at 444-1958 or the nearest police station.

Birchgrove Man Detained for Illegal Firearm

At around 1:00 a.m., on Monday 2^nd August, 2021, officers attached to the Western Division were on patrol duty when they intercepted a vehicle and conducted a routine search that lead to the discovery of a firearm.

One resident of Birchgrove, St. Andrew, was detained by officers after they discovered one 9mm pistol along with six rounds of ammunition in the vehicle.

He is in police custody assisting with investigations.
