Officers of the Grenville Fire Department responded to a dwelling house fire at Hermitage, St. Patrick, in the early hours of Friday 19^th February, 2021.  On arrival at the scene, the wooden and concrete structure was destroyed as a result of the fire.

Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, subsequently detained a resident of Hermitage, St. Patrick for Arson, after he confessed to committing the act.

The suspect is in police custody assisting with investigations.
