Man Charged for Causing Death by Dangerous Driving

Cosmo Hosten, 38 years old, Event Planner, of True Blue, St. George, was arrested and charged for the offence of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving following investigations into the vehicular accident which occurred along the Grand Anse Public Road, St. George, on March 6th, 2023, resulting in the death of Archer Mc Intyre of Mt. Hartman, St. George.
Mr. Hosten appeared at the St. George’s No. 2 Magistrate’s Court, today Friday 31st March, 2023 and was granted bail in the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) with two (2) sureties with the following conditions:
- No contact with any witness to the matter,
- Surrender all travel documents,
- Report to the South St. George Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
- Not permitted to leave the state of Grenada without permission of the Court.
He is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday 18th July, 2023.
St. Patrick Resident Charged for Livestock Theft

Shon Mark, 34 years old, Construction Worker of Rose Hill, St. Patrick, was arrested and charged by members of the Praedial Larceny Task Force, with four (4) counts of stealing of livestock. The charges were laid against Mr. Mark following investigations into complaints made by four (4) farmers, alleging that a total of eighteen (18) goats were stolen between the period of March 6th and 14th, 2023.
During the investigations police recovered nine (9) goats from River Antoine, St. Patrick. Those animals were returned to their respective owners.
Mr. Mark was granted bail in the sum of seven thousand dollars with one surety. He is scheduled to appear at the Sauteurs Magistrate’s Court on Friday 26th May, 2023.
