National U19 Tournament Kicks off On Saturday

The Grenada Football Association opens its Annual Under 19 Football Tournament on Saturday 23 June 2018, at Queens Park and Plains from 2 p.m.
The Tournament will be played in two zones in a one round league format followed by a final stage.
The top four (4) teams from each zone will qualify for the Final Stage, which will consist of a quarter final, semi-final and final.
Players Playing in this tournament must be born on or after January 1st, 1999.
The National U19 tournament is designed to give youth players more opportunities to play the game and improve their skills.
It will also provide a scouting platform for selection on the Senior Men National Team and unto clubs.
Participating for the first time in this Tournament will be the National Under 17 team and uprising youths from Carriacou.
On Saturday in Group A from 2 p.m. Willis Youths will take on St. Johns Sports at Queens park, while Honved will take on the National U 17 team from 4:30 p.m.
In Group B Mt. Rich SC will come up against Hard Rock from 4:30 p.m.
Games will continue Sunday from 4:30 p.m. in both groups.
In Group A, Queens Park Rangers verses Blue Stars at Queens Park. In Group B Belle Vue Rangers verses Sab at La Sagesse Playing field and Shamrock verses Sunsetters at Plains all games begins at 4:30 p.m.
