Officers attached to the Drug Squad Unit arrested and charged five (5) residents of Non Pariel, St. Mark, for several drug related offences in relation to a seizure of four hundred and eighty-four (484) pounds of Marijuana on Saturday 12th June, 2021, at Non Pariel, St. Mark.  The seized Marijuana carries an estimated street value of one million, ninety-seven thousand, seven hundred and twelve dollars ($1,097,712.00).

Estone Young was charged for Importation of a Controlled Drug and Trafficking a Controlled Drug; Errol Richards was charged for Trafficking a Controlled Drug; Zoyd Clement, Waleed John and Brent Patrick were charged for Possession and Handling of a Controlled Drug.  They were charged on Monday 14th June, 2021, and are expected to make their first court appearance at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 16th June, 2021.
