January 4, 2019 – Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Mitchell says a heightened level of investor confidence is clearly visible in Grenada with the level of developments taking place. 

“The many developments taking place around the country would not happen if people did not have the confidence to invest here,” Dr. Mitchell said, adding that, “the more we create these opportunities and bring benefits to the people, the more investors we will attract.” 

Speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Hideaway Condominiums in True Blue on Wednesday, Dr. Mitchell said the vision and the initiative taken to develop such a project, is what is needed to further propel Grenada’s development.   “To see a local Grenadian with a project of this nature, under a programme that this Government has initiated, makes us feel that we are on the right track. What we would like to see is more and more Grenadians coming forward and taking the opportunities being created to help develop Grenada further.” 

Minister for International Business, Honourable, Nickolas Steele has also commended the owner and chairman of Hideaway True Blue Inc., Dr. Richard Nixon for the project. 

The Hideaway Condominiums project was constructed under the Citizenship by Investment Programme. Publicly endorsing the programme, Dr. Nixon said, “Many have expressed concern about the Citizenship by Investment Programme. I will like to publicly endorse the intent of the programme because I have seen and experienced the benefits it can bring. This is a programme also for Grenadians, and not as perceived by many, to be reserved for foreign investors.”  

Dr. Nixon has offered his assistance to help other Grenadians develop properties that have the potential to benefit under the CBI programme.

Hideaway Condominiums consist of 44 fully furnished units which exceed minimum hotel standards. The units are already fully booked.
