Reminder of Tax Filing and Payment Obligation

The Ministry of Finance, Inland Revenue Division wishes to remind taxpayers that the due date for filing and payment for Personal Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax (Businesses with fiscal year end of December 31st, 2022) and Annual Stamp Tax is March 31st, 2023.
Taxpayers who do not meet the deadline of March 31st, 2023, will be required to pay late filing and payment fees as follows:
Late Filing Penalty:
- Five percent (5%) of the amount of the tax owing, plus a further one percent (1%) of the amount of tax owing for each month or part month once failure to file continues or
- Five hundred dollars ($500), plus a further one hundred dollars for each month or part month once failure to file continues, whichever is greater. Late Payment Penalty:
- Twenty (20%) of the amount owing, plus 1.5% interest compounded monthly
The Inland Revenue Division urges all taxpayers to ensure that they file their returns on time to avoid being charged penalties and interest.
The public is hereby reminded that filing and payments can be made using any of the following medium:
- Online portal at my.gov.gd
- Inland Revenue Division’s main office on the Carenage, St. George
- All District Revenue Office
