Salada encourages Jamaicans to Rise Up, Run for the Fun and Donate to the Cause
Kingston, Jamaica: Salada Foods Jamaica Limited in partnership with Running Events Jamaica Limited will launch Jamaica’s first road race loyalty card aptly titled Rise Up and Run. The loyalty card, the first of this magnitude for Salada, is designed to encourage Jamaicans to rise up, run for the fun and donate to the cause announced Salada at the recent launch of Everyone’s A Winner/Running Events 5K & 10K at the Jamaica Society for the Blind.
“At Salada, our mantra is simple, we Rise Up and Support Jamaica,” declared Tamii Brown, Corporate and Commercial Affairs Manager at Salada Foods Jamaica. “Each of these races is aligned with a cause geared towards alleviating challenges confronted by many Jamaicans. More importantly, these races provide a no-hurdles entry for each Jamaican to give back to the betterment of our country. So to further bolster that spirit of charity we developed this loyalty card to further give back to our road-racing nation builders.”
Salada Foods Jamaica Limited will work closely with the Running Events organizers to provide full-service hot beverage stations at selected races in the 2019 Road Running Calendar.
According to Managing Director of Running Events Jamaica, Alfred “Frano” Francis, it is through collaboration and shared vision that positive change occurs.
“Road Races are growing in popularity in Jamaica,” said Francis, “And we make sure that there is a sincerity of purpose in all races with which we become associated. However, we cannot do it alone, there are sponsors, participants, our team, volunteers, government, entertainers, beneficiaries, media and a lot of other parties that make it all possible. So we are happy to have another visionary and partner step up for the cause.”
“This partnership with Salada Foods will enrich the overall experience of our patrons and will encourage more patrons to come out in their numbers to support these worthy causes.”
