Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada, Closes Through April 30, 2020 due to COVID-19 Restrictions
GRAND ANSE BEACH, Grenada (March 25, 2020) – Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada (www.SpiceIslandBeachResort.com) has announced it will be closed through April 30, 2020 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
“It has become clear that current events relating to COVID-19 and travel restrictions are making it unviable for Spice Island Beach Resort to continue trading at this time. Regretfully the Hopkin family has taken the difficult decision to close the resort through April 30, 2020 in the first instance,” said Janelle Hopkin, president and managing director of the resort, adding: “Spice Island Beach Resort will take the opportunity and time to strategically prepare its physical product to be ready to resume operations and welcome back guests to our Spice Family, and to our wonderful, peaceful island very soon. We pray for the safety and well being of all.”
The resort’s reservations team will be available Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., through the resort’s telephone 473-444-4258 and reservations email reservations@spicebeachresort.com will continue to be active.
