Spice Island Beach Resort Maintains Coveted AAA Five Diamond Rating for 4th Consecutive Year
GRAND ANSE BEACH, Grenada (Nov. 11, 2019) – For the fourth consecutive year, the elegant and upscale Spice Island Beach Resort (www.SpiceIslandBeachResort.com) in Grenada has retained its coveted AAA Five Diamond Rating. Nearly 27,000 properties are reviewed by AAA inspectors who use published guidelines to evaluate and rate properties for the AAA Five Diamond Award and fewer than 0.4 percent receive the award. According to AAA, this achievement ranks Spice Island Beach Resort as a premier establishment valued by professional inspectors, the hospitality industry and over 59 million AAA and Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) members.
“Obtaining the distinction of the AAA Five Diamond Award once again is a tribute for the tremendous work our staff puts into creating our superior product and a testament to our talented, dedicated employees who deliver such high satisfaction for our guests,” said Sir Royston KCMG, chairman and managing director of Spice Island Beach Resort. “Maintaining such an exclusive rating places Spice Island Beach Resort in a special class of elite resorts in the world and we are extremely proud and grateful,” Sir Royston added.
This award for 2020, which comes as a result of inspections and evaluations, continues to elevate the resort’s status and is another significant landmark in Sir Royston’s untiring service of excellence to Grenada and the Caribbean region.
“AAA is proud to acknowledge Spice Island Beach Resort as one of North America’s most luxurious accommodations for the fourth consecutive year,” said Michael Petrone, director of AAA Inspections & Diamond Ratings. “Five Diamond properties, such as Spice Island Beach Resort, consistently deliver a highly personalized, memorable experience that always exceed expectations,” Petrone added.
