Christopher Brathwaite, 41 years, Steel Bender of Hope, St. Andrew was arrested, formally charged and cautioned by officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department for the offences of Rape and Indecent Assault.

Brathwaite is alleged to have committed the offences on Saturday 6^th November, 2021.

He was granted bail in the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00ecc) with one surety.  As part of his bail condition, Brathwaite ought not to have any contact with the virtual complainant.

Brathwaite is scheduled to appear at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 17^th March, 2022.

Meanwhile, Teron Jamie Belfon, 47 years old, Farmer of La Fortune, St. Patrick has been arrested and charged for the offence of Non-Capital Murder by intentionally causing the death of Nicholas Duncan, 60 years of Madeys, St. Patrick.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 2^nd March, 2022. Belfon is scheduled to appear at the Sauteurs Magistrate’s Court at a later date
