The Grenada Football Association (GFA) and Free Kick Foundation, a non-profit organization in the USA, partnered in 2019 to expand the platform for scholarship opportunities for Grenadian players. 

The partnership first College Football Showcase will be held 16th – 19th January 2020 with four activities planned: 

• Thursday 16th January – Meet and Greet/Press Launch at 7:00 pm, GFA Conference Room 
• Friday 17th January – Open Forum at 5:00 pm, Grenada National Stadium Hospitality Centre 
• Saturday 18th January – Day 1 College Football Showcase at 10:00 am, Kirani James Athletics Stadium 
• Sunday 19th January – Day 2 College Football Showcase at 10:00 am, Kirani James Athletics Stadium 

Eight (8) coaches from six (6) colleges will be in Grenada from Wednesday to scout 66 players (44 males, 22 females) from the region. Coaches are from Blinn College, Texas; Bethany College, West Virginia; MJK Maryland, Maryland; Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), Maryland; Union County College, New Jersey and Robert Morris, Pennsylvania. The coaches will observe the players in physical and technical drills on Saturday and matches on Sunday. 

Grenada will have 24 male and 12 female players participating in the showcase.
