St. George’s GRENADA – St. George’s GRENADA – The Grenada Athletic Association announces its three (3) member team for the World Athletics U20 Championships, carded for Cali, COLOMBIA from August 01st – 06th, 2022.

The team comprises the following:

The team is scheduled to depart various locations for Cali, on July 30^th, 2022.

The above-mentioned list of representatives has demonstrated excellent performances, individually throughout the 2022 athletic season. Jamara Patterson posted a personal and season-best performance of 54.48 secs in the 400 meters. 

In the 2021 edition of the World Athletics U20 Championship Nazzio John finished 4^th in the 100 meters in a time of 10. 32 secs. 

At the 2022 Jamaica National Championship in June, Isaiah Patrick ran a time of 14. 10 secs. in the 110 meters hurdles to qualify for the championship.  

Mrs. Kathleen Victor will accompany the team in the capacity of Manager/ Chaperone, coupled with Mr. Ferdinando John in the capacity of Coach.
